The costs quoted here do not include disbursements. You will need to pay these separately which could include :

  • Any Home Office Fees, Immigration health surcharges or court fees for making the applications. You will pay this to the Home Office or court directly as part of the application process. Find updated list of Home Office Fees
  • Other expenses where applicable such as VAT, Disbursements for medical/expert evidence/ barristers, interpreters, travel expenses, translations of documents and other requesting of information/documents from third party organizations.

At the time of making your enquiry with us, we will specify what specific disbursements you can expect in your matter including advising you at that point in time what the current Home Office fees are as they tend to change on an annual basis. We will let you know at the earliest opportunity and before any such fees are incurred by yourself, if any of these are applicable. The waiting times for the home office to make a decision on an application varies regularly. We will provide you with an estimate before submitting any application.

All work will be overseen and conducted by Ishwar Singh who is a qualified solicitor.

Before making any application you will usually come to our office to receive advice on Immigration and family law. You will need to attend our office for this as we do not advise over the phone, email or post. A solicitor will speak to you about your immigration or family law issues and provide guidance based on the information you provide. You will come to our office and may have to wait, we will let you know the waiting time. You will speak to the Solicitor who will explain to you the laws and answer your questions about the law. If you decide to instruct us to represent you for the application or appeal, we will inform you our agreed fees for the work. If any time you decide not to continue your matter and want to withdraw your instructions, we will only charge for the time spent on the matter. Our advise charges are £50 for 30 minutes.
